Bin Yang, professor, Collaborative Innovation Center of Steel Technology. Prof. Yang graduated from the Institute of Metal Research (IMR), Chinese Academy of Sciences with a Ph.D. degree in January 1998. He earned his master degree in metallic materials at Zhejiang University on June 1989. He received his undergraduate education at Nanchang University from September 1978 to July 1982 and earned his Bachelor degree in Foundry. Prof. Yang studied and worked in the University of Denmark and University of Utah as a visiting scholar from 2001-2002 and 2009-2010 respectively. He is an author who has more than 300 papers, two books. He has also more than 40 patents in the area of aluminum alloys, aluminum-based composites, stainless steel etc.
