    Lijun Wang    Professor

Lijun Wang, the Professor and Master`s Supervisor Doctoral Supervisor of Collaborative Innovation Center of Steel Technology. She received her B.E. and M.E. degrees in Physical Chemistry of Metallurgy from University of Science & Technology Beijing (USTB)

    Lijun Wang, the Professor and Master`s Supervisor Doctoral Supervisor of Collaborative Innovation Center of Steel Technology. She received her B.E. and M.E. degrees in Physical Chemistry of Metallurgy from University of Science & Technology Beijing (USTB) in 2002 and 2005, and Ph.D. degree in Metallurgical Process Science from Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (KTH) in 2009. After that she carried out her research as postdoctoral fellows in USTB (2011) and Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. (TISCO) (2017). She was visiting scholars to Department of Materials Science and Engineering, KTH (2011) and Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy, University of Cambridge (2018). She has published more than 70 papers on renowned international journals (60 included in SCI). As the first inventor, she was granted 8 national invention patents. Besides, she participated in the writing of an English monograph in Metallurgy.

Research Projects

1. As project leader (8 projects). General Program and Young Scholars funds supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China; Scientific Research Foundation for Returned Scholars by Ministry of Education; Young Talents Program of Universities in Beijing; Natural Science Foundation of Beijing and Special Foundation for China Postdoctoral.

2. As major researcher. The Major State Basic Research Development Program of China (973 Program); National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program); National Key R&D Plan; the 13th Five-Year Plan; Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; Swedish Environmental Protection Agency; Outokumpu Stainless Steel Group of Finland and other research projects with factories, etc.
